Happy to commend Belenus Pty Ltd, Mark Taylor responded quickly to my initial inquiry and provided a quick and competitive quote to replace my failed inverter. The electricians (Joel and Cade) who attended to carry out the inverter replacement were quick, courteous and very professional, sweeping up and cleaning the work area on completion. Could not be happier.

Belenus upgraded my ancient (21 years old) solar off-grid set up by removing the panels from the existing small system then supplying and installing new panels, inverter, and monitoring equipment. This was not an 'off the shelf' turnkey installation, but rather something very site specific that required careful tailoring to my situation. The 800 Ah 24v gel battery set I already had for the old system was to be retained and connected to the new system. Before undertaking the job (located in a rural area about 100 km from Perth), two Belenus representatives visited the site and undertook a thorough inspection. During this visit, we discussed various options for taking the best advantage of the location, orientation, requirements, etc. I was most impressed by the straightforward and matter-of-fact approach these representatives took - no hint of sales pressure or wanting to push particular products. They were very focussed on determining my needs and fulfilling them to my satisfaction. Their sound overall knowledge of solar electricity provision in general and of off-grid systems in particular was most reassuring. I understand that Belenus does many commercial installations and this experience was reflected in their professional approach to my job. Within a week or so, they came back to me with a detailed quote and once I had agreed, work commenced shortly afterwards. The specialist installation team from Belenus were superb in every facet of the work - properly qualified electricians who were reliable and took a pride in their work. They made several excellent on-site suggestions about optimising the installation and were able to tackle various more demanding aspects of my rather specific requirements with ease and good humour. I am extremely satisfied with all facets of the process, from the initial contact right through to the job's completion and have no hesitation in recommending this most professional company to others. Note that included in the price cited below is not only the supply and installation of all components of the solar power system but also both the decomissioning/removal of the previous system and installation of electrical connections for a new gas heater. In other words, the price for the solar work alone was very competitive, especially given the specialist nature of the job and the complexity of the installation.
